NOTE TO SELF

 

 

Dear Self,
Yes, you need someone to love you, to support you, to care for you and that someone is none other than you, yourself. In loving others you often forget to love yourself. And tell me one thing why you keep chasing people who make you feel that your love is not enough.Can’t you just stop finding love in others? People who say that they love you, but always try to change you they don’t love you at all they just want you to become their version of you to fulfil their needs.Just stop begging for love and don’t lose real you because if you lose real you, you will never be able to find true love.

A person who says that they love you but they want you to change something in you or if they complain about you all the time take it as a hint they are indirectly telling you – hey, I don’t love you I just need you to be my kind of you and if you can become one I pretend to love you otherwise they make you feel that you are not enough. If you ever come across this kind of person just run far away from them as fast as you can and never look back.

My Dear self that day you become very melancholic when one toxic person left you. Do you remember how much you cried that day? Okay, tell me why you cried so much was it your mistake that you loved that person so much and that person didn’t find your love enough? I tell you what was your mistake, Your biggest mistake was that you let all the love inside you belong to another person and when they left, you think that there is no love remain for you.You know, to give love you also need love and that love you need, is in you only. You must love yourself before loving others and yes it is the only way to understand the true essence of love. And yes please never ever think that if you love yourself you are selfish. Self-love does not at all means that you are ‘selfish’ or ‘narcissist’.

The moment you start loving yourself before others you will also be able to find a person who loves you truly, who finds your irritating habits very cute, who love your child like face and who will make you feel that you are the only one.
           Spread love and start with yourself.
With lots and lots and lots of love.
